25 Febuary 2009 update The In Bruges Fansite was officially closed on 25 February 2009, and will no longer be updated. The site will stay on air for as long as Bravenet leaves it up, feel free to browse the archive or register at the fanlisting. The articles and links have all been back-up saved on the In Bruges Blog, which will also no longer be updated. Thanks to everyone who's shown their support for In Bruges through this site. the movie had excellent humor yet was very sad and depressing in its own way..it was kind of like listening to a bittersweet song with joy and sadness clashing and merging to establish this effect. The dialogue was very funny, yet the setting itself was kind of empty and depressing. Very interesting choice of location since it goes very well with themes such as the afterlife, redemption, honor, depression, regret, and making the right choices as expressed in this masterpiece. Excellent Movie!!! Nice to see a comedy about Hitmen that have a CONSCIENCE. Thoughtful and thought provoking, serious, but humorous enough not to be depressing. Lively dialogue. Overall very impressive movie!!!! |
